In this context, the renowned Chinese company BYD has launched its new vehicle, the Yangwang U7, which represents an advanced model in the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) category.

The 2.0T engine, known as BYD4H20, produces up to 200 kW (268 horsepower). The vehicle also includes four permanent magnet synchronous motors, with a total output reaching 1000 kW (1341 horsepower).

The car uses a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery with a capacity of 52.4 kWh, granting it a pure electric range of up to 180 kilometers when fully charged. The overall driving range can reach up to 1000 kilometers, with an energy consumption of 8.7 kWh per 100 kilometers in WLTC mode.
