Lazzara Yachts
Lazzara Yachts has seen three generations of the Lazzara family designing and building luxury yachts and semi-custom superyachts in Tampa, Florida.
Founded in 1956 by Vince Lazzara, the company builds contemporary luxury yachts designed by an in-house team led by Design Director Joe Lazzara.
Vince built Lazzara Yachts' first large fiberglass sailing yacht, followed by many successful sailing yacht projects, SeaRover houseboats, and the famous Gulfstar sailboats and trawlers, which later merged with Viking Yachts.
In 1991, Dick and Brad Lazzara founded Lazzara Yachts. Two years later, the first 23.75-meter Lazzara yacht was launched.
Notable Yachts
Some of the shipyard's most successful models include the Lazzara LSX75, Lazzara LSX Quad 78, Lazzara 80, and Lazzara LSX 92. The shipyard's largest launch is the Lazzara 116 superyacht.
H2 Yacht Design for Luxury Yachts
H2 Yacht Design was founded in 1994 in London by director Jonny Horsfield, who graduated from Coventry University after studying automotive design and quickly found his passion in luxury yacht design after first working with designer Martin Francis and then spending five years under renowned superyacht designer Donald Starkey.
During its first 11 years, H2 Yacht Design worked on superyacht refits, but this changed in 2005 when it won the interior design contract for the 54-meter Proteksan superyacht Talisman C - H2's first new build. Since then, H2 has completed exterior and interior design for several new yachts.
Notable Yachts
The 82-meter Blohm + Voss superyacht Graceful (2014) represents both exterior and interior design responsibilities and is H2 Yacht Design's largest superyacht launch to date, although the studio has a 120-meter project under construction in Europe.
Jonny Horsfield and his team can also claim credit for both interior and exterior design of Proteksan superyachts Vicky and Talisman C - 72.6 meters and 70.5 meters respectively - as well as the interior design of the 73.8-meter Nobiskrug Odessa II.
