Cunard has announced the completion of the refurbishment of its iconic ship, the Queen Elizabeth, in preparation for her new season in North America.

The Queen Elizabeth has completed a three-week refurbishment at a shipyard in Singapore, where her designs were enhanced and her interior spaces renewed. On this occasion, Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, stated, “We are delighted to offer guests an even more refined experience onboard, with beautifully updated spaces that combine classic Cunard style with modern comfort.”
The enhancements included the revitalization of several key areas on the ship, such as the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Garden Lounge, and The Pavilion. Outdoor decks were renovated, and more sunshades were added to the aft deck of the ship.
The refurbishment was inspired by the Royal Palace's heritage of planting mulberry trees since the reign of King James I, with the new carpet pattern reflecting garden shrubbery. The Grills experience was also elevated with enhanced interiors and exteriors, as well as new furniture added to The Grills Terrace.
The Queen Elizabeth offers a range of new features that enhance the passenger experience onboard.
The Pavilion Wellness Café was introduced aboard, which debuted in 2024 on Cunard’s Queen Anne. Also added was the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea program, which adds an extra dimension to the passenger experience.
For the first time in Cunard’s history, one of its ships will spend an entire season in Miami. The Queen Elizabeth will offer roundtrip Caribbean voyages with itineraries ranging from nine to 28 nights, including destinations such as Montego Bay in Jamaica, San Juan in Puerto Rico, and St. John’s in Antigua.
