Coming Soon to Egypt: The All-New Third Generation Renault Duster Revealed

Egyptian International Motors (EIM) has entered a new race to launch the all-new third generation Renault Duster in the Egyptian market.

After years of the previous model's presence since 2021, the anticipated model arrives as part of the dealer's plan to refresh its lineup and strengthen Renault's position within the mid-size SUV segment.

Dealer Preparations and Imminent Local Launch

According to official announcements from local media, third-generation vehicles have arrived at Egyptian ports, and the dealer was preparing for an official launch on May 19, 2025, during a ceremony held at the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Third Generation Specifications and Dimensions

The 2025 Duster features a more robust structure with extended use of black plastic panels on the sides and wheel arches, giving it a more powerful appearance.

The vehicle's dimensions are approximately: Length ≈ 4,343 mm, Width ≈ 1,829 mm, Height ≈ 1,660 mm, and a wheelbase of ≈ 2,657 mm, with a ground clearance of 217 mm according to local estimates.

The cabin boasts two screens: a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen supporting CarPlay and Android Auto.

Available Powertrain Options

A 1.3-liter turbo engine is offered, delivering 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission and front-wheel drive.

This option comes after the older version relied on a 1.6-liter engine with a CVT transmission, producing only 115 horsepower.

The global version includes mild-hybrid and hybrid options, but the local dealer has focused on the turbo version to streamline operations and after-sales service.

Interior Structure and Technical Features

The Duster continues to offer advanced features, including a sophisticated safety system and technologies that simplify daily life:

Safety Systems: 6 airbags, ESP, hill-start assist, blind-spot monitoring, 360-degree camera, cruise control, and an electric parking brake.
Amenities: Automatic air conditioning, leather steering wheel, wireless charging in higher trims, smart keyless entry, and "Shift by Wire" paddle shifters.
Exterior Design: Refreshed with Y-shaped headlights, 17-18 inch wheels, an under-bumper skid plate, and tinted rear glass to enhance the sporty look.
Updated and Robust Structure: Strategic use of plastic panels enhances the car's appearance and on-road dynamics.
Advanced Interior Technologies: Smart screens, an intelligent driving system, and comfort features for family driving.
Modern Turbo Engine: Offers better power and higher efficiency compared to the previous generation.
Expanded Support Network: Plans to expand the service and maintenance system in line with urban expansion, as per the local dealer's directives.
Its new performance and turbo engine enhance fuel efficiency and reduce operating costs compared to the older model.

The launch of the third-generation Renault Duster in Egypt marks a new footprint in the mid-size SUV segment.

The dealer has not only provided a revamped car but also implemented an integrated strategy that includes technical and structural support, along with competitive prices, to bolster consumer confidence.
