2026 Volkswagen Tiguan in Egypt: New Price Hike and Premium Specifications Revealed

The Egyptian Automotive & Trading Co. (EATc), the official agent for Volkswagen in Egypt, has announced a price adjustment for the 2026 Tiguan. 

The popular SUV saw a price increase of EGP 200,000 in the local market, reflecting the ongoing shifts in the automotive landscape.

Performance and Powertrain

The 2026 Tiguan is powered by a 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, delivering 152 hp and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. 

This engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission, ensuring smooth power delivery. The vehicle maintains an efficient fuel consumption rate of approximately 6.71 liters per 100 km.

The Tiguan is offered in a single, high-spec trim:

• R-Line Grade: EGP 2,590,000.

Exterior Design and Features

The R-Line variant stands out with its aggressive sporty styling, featuring chrome accents on the bumpers and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Lighting technology is a highlight, with LED Plus headlights including dynamic range control, 3D LED taillights, and illuminated door handles. It also features silver roof rails and power-folding side mirrors with heating and memory functions.

Interior Luxury and Connectivity

The cabin is designed with a focus on ergonomics and high-tech features, including:

• A 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen with seamless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
