Chery Car Prices Rise in Egypt for the Second Time in a Week

Reflecting ongoing market shifts in Egypt’s automotive sector, GB Auto, the exclusive distributor for Chery in China, has officially released a second updated pricing framework within the span of just one week during October. 

The latest adjustments introduce price hikes ranging between EGP 15,000 and EGP 25,000 across a broad spectrum of the brand's popular sedan and SUV models.

While the majority of the Arrizo and Tiggo lineups absorbed these upward revisions, a select few variants maintained their previous price points. 

2027 Chery Arrizo 5 Pricing Updates 

The budget-friendly sedan received uniform increases of EGP 15,000 across its three trims: 

• Basic Trim: Retailed at EGP 705,000 (up from EGP 690,000). 
• CVT Basic Trim: Priced at EGP 750,000 (up from EGP 735,000). 
• CVT Comfort Trim: Priced at EGP 790,000 (up from EGP 775,000). 

2027 Chery Arrizo 6 GT Pricing Updates 

The sporty sedan absorbed a EGP 16,000 increase across both trims: 

• Comfort Trim: Reached EGP 915,000 (previously EGP 899,000). 
• Luxury Trim: Retailed at EGP 1,015,000 (previously EGP 999,000). 

2026 Chery Arrizo 8 Pricing Updates 

The flagship executive sedan received a EGP 20,000 markup across its trims: 

• Luxury Trim: Priced at EGP 1,320,000 (up from EGP 1,300,000). 
• Flagship Trim: Retailed at EGP 1,400,000 (up from EGP 1,380,000). 

2027 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro Pricing Updates 

The compact crossover saw a EGP 16,000 price adjustment per trim: 

• Comfort Trim: Retailed at EGP 915,000 (previously EGP 899,000). 
• Luxury Trim: Priced at EGP 955,000 (previously EGP 939,000). 
• Luxury Turbo Trim: Reached EGP 1,015,000 (previously EGP 999,000). 

2027 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Pricing Updates 

The Tiggo 7 Pro recorded the highest adjustment in this cycle, increasing by EGP 25,000 per trim: 

• Comfort Trim: Retailed at EGP 1,115,000 (up from EGP 1,090,000). 
• Luxury Trim: Priced at EGP 1,215,000 (up from EGP 1,190,000).

Increased by EGP 20,000 across its two trims: 

• Comfort Trim: Retailed at EGP 1,340,000 (up from EGP 1,320,000).

The three-row family SUV received a uniform EGP 20,000 markup:

• Luxury (7-Seater): Reached EGP 1,300,000 (previously EGP 1,280,000).

Adjusted upward by EGP 20,000 for both variants: 

• Luxury Trim: Retailed at EGP 1,640,000 (up from EGP 1,620,000). 
• Flagship Trim: Priced at EGP 1,740,000 (up from EGP 1,720,000). 

2026 Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV Pricing Update 

• The flagship plug-in hybrid SUV rose by EGP 20,000 to reach EGP 2,120,000 (up from EGP 2,100,000). 

Stable Pricing Across Select Models

Conversely, several models maintained their current price structures without adjustments: 

• Chery Tiggo 7 FL (2027): Remains priced at EGP 1,010,000 for the first trim and EGP 1,080,000 for the second trim. 
• Chery Tiggo 8 Pro (2026): Held steady at EGP 1,375,000 for the Luxury trim and EGP 1,475,000 for the Flagship trim. 
• Chery EQ7 Electric: Maintained at EGP 1,599,000. 

GB Auto’s consecutive price revisions for Chery vehicles in Egypt underscore the persistent fluctuations in the local automotive market. With adjustments ranging from 15k to 25k EGP for the second time within a week, Chery continues to align its diverse lineup with current economic realities.
