BrandIt Cairo has officially concluded the first edition of the "Green Friday Market," held on October 8–9 at the Al Masa Hotel in Nasr City.
The two-day event drew an audience exceeding 30,000 visitors and featured 37 exhibiting brands, including official distributors, authorized dealers, financial institutions, and EV charging technology providers.
The exhibition introduced an integrated automotive marketplace concept combining new cars, pre-owned vehicles, and "zero-mileage" options.
Visitors accessed test drives, financing programs, technical inspection services, insurance packages, and a mobile Ministry of Justice unit providing on-site contract notarization.
Mohamed El-Saedi, Co-Founder and CEO of BrandIt Cairo and Chairman of the event, noted that the platform effectively stimulated sales, with a majority of participating dealers clearing their entire inventory of showcased pre-owned vehicles during the exhibition.
Participating financial institutions presented specialized automotive financing solutions aimed at accelerating vehicle adoption:
Automotive market data presented during the event highlighted accelerating electric vehicle adoption in Egypt. Mahmoud Sultan, Co-Founder and Business Development Director at Quikr EV, reported approximately 15,500 new vehicle registrations through August 2026 within monitored segments, with battery electric vehicles (BEVs) accounting for 41% of total figures.
With home charging representing nearly 80% of total EV energy delivery, Quikr EV—in partnership with Valu—launched a 6-month interest-free installment package covering certified home chargers, cables, and adapters.
The exhibition served as a backdrop for key corporate agreements supporting regional electrification:
The exhibitor lineup included prominent automotive brands and distributors, such as ARCFOX, Alkan Auto, SN Automotive, FORTHING, Nissan, Dongfeng, Voyah, MHero, Nour Eldin Elsherif, ROX, El-Rowad Group, El-Aseel, El-Leithy Auto Group, Phantom Auto, and QN Automotive, alongside pre-owned vehicle retailers.
Mohamed El-Saedi confirmed receiving formal requests to export the "Green Friday Market" concept to regional markets, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, and Morocco, with international expansion plans currently under review.
The inaugural Green Friday Market established a functional model linking automotive importers, financial institutions, charging infrastructure providers, and retail buyers under a single ecosystem.
By streamlining transaction workflows and expanding EV accessibility, the event provides a repeatable framework for sustainable mobility growth in Egypt.
