KGM Actyon 2026: Prices and Specifications

The 2026 KGM Actyon is priced in Egypt from EGP 1.95 million for the entry-level Highline trim to EGP 2.15 million for the top-spec Topline version, following a price increase of EGP 25,000 for each trim in October. The model is positioned in the midsize sport utility vehicle segment, with prices approaching the EGP 2 million mark.

The Actyon is offered in Egypt in two trim levels through Arabiyat Egypt, the local distributor of South Korean brand KGM. Both versions use the same powertrain, consisting of a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 163 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel-drive system.

Under the price list announced on October 20, 2026, the Highline trim increased from EGP 1.925 million to EGP 1.95 million, while the Topline trim rose from EGP 2.125 million to EGP 2.15 million. The price difference between the two versions remains EGP 200,000, with different equipment levels available in each trim.

The latest increase reflects continuing price adjustments in Egypt's new-car market. The two trim levels allow buyers to choose between the entry-level and higher-specification versions without a difference in engine displacement, horsepower or transmission configuration, according to the published specifications.

The KGM Actyon belongs to the midsize crossover segment. The name first appeared in 2005 under South Korean automaker SsangYong, before the brand adopted the KGM name. The latest generation was introduced in 2024 with a different design and relatively larger dimensions. It shares its platform with the KGM Torres, while occupying a higher position in terms of dimensions and model positioning within the brand's lineup.

The vehicle measures 4.74 meters in length, 1.91 meters in width and 1.68 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 2.68 meters and ground clearance of 20.6 centimeters. These dimensions place the Actyon among vehicles that combine cabin space with relatively high ground clearance, while remaining suitable for everyday commuting and family trips.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 50 liters, while the published specifications list luggage capacity at between 668 and 1,120 liters. This provides space for luggage and other belongings during travel and daily use. The usable capacity depends on how items are arranged and the position of the rear seats, as well as the type of cargo being carried.

The Actyon's 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivers 163 horsepower between 5,000 and 5,500 rpm, along with peak torque of 280 Nm between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm. The availability of torque at relatively low engine speeds can support acceleration response, although actual performance also depends on vehicle weight, driving conditions and passenger or cargo load.

The engine is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission supplied by Aisin and drives the front wheels. The vehicle has a stated top speed of 191 kilometers per hour, while its published average fuel consumption is approximately 8.1 liters per 100 kilometers. Actual fuel consumption may differ depending on road conditions, traffic, driving style and vehicle condition.

The engine and transmission specifications are among the main factors buyers can use when comparing the Actyon with other models in the same segment, alongside vehicle size, safety equipment and comfort features. The published performance and fuel consumption figures should not be assumed to apply under all driving conditions, as results can vary between urban traffic and highway driving.

In terms of safety, the published equipment list includes seven airbags, electronic stability control, lane-departure warning assistance and blind-spot monitoring. These systems can support the driver in different driving situations, but they do not replace careful driving and compliance with traffic regulations. The availability of individual features may also vary by trim.

Other equipment includes a 360-degree camera system, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, a 12.3-inch central display, a digital instrument cluster and 20-inch wheels. These features contribute to convenience, easier access to vehicle information and control of selected functions, while the camera system can assist with visibility during parking and maneuvering.

The difference in equipment between the Highline and Topline versions is a key factor when comparing their prices, particularly given the EGP 200,000 gap. Choosing the more suitable trim therefore requires more than comparing the price difference. Buyers should review the detailed equipment list for each version and confirm which features are fitted to the specific vehicle being offered.

The vehicle is listed with a warranty of five years or 100,000 kilometers, according to the published specifications for the Egyptian market. Warranty coverage can be an important consideration when assessing ownership costs over the medium term, alongside scheduled maintenance, spare-parts prices and authorized service intervals. Buyers should review the distributor's detailed warranty terms before completing a purchase.

The KGM Actyon competes in the sport utility vehicle market with models that differ in price, equipment and powertrain configuration, including the Hyundai Tucson, Peugeot 408, Opel Grandland and Exeed RX. Comparisons depend on the available trim levels, engine output, dimensions, safety and comfort features, as well as maintenance costs and after-sales services.

With the top-spec Actyon priced at EGP 2.15 million, direct comparisons with vehicles in the same price bracket become important for prospective buyers. Similar prices do not necessarily mean equivalent equipment, performance or running costs. Buyers should also check the latest official price list, confirm availability of their preferred trim and verify delivery schedules, as advertised prices may change and dealer offers may differ from the official list.

The 2026 KGM Actyon therefore combines a 163-horsepower turbocharged engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, midsize dimensions and a range of safety and comfort features, with prices starting at EGP 1.95 million. Assessing its value ultimately depends on comparing the actual equipment of both trims, operating and maintenance costs, warranty conditions and other vehicles available within the same budget
