Locally Assembled Haval Jolion 2027 Prices Rise

GB Auto, the exclusive official distributor for the Chinese brand "Haval" under Great Wall Motor (GWM) group in Egypt, has officially announced a new price adjustment targeting the locally assembled Haval Jolion Facelift model year 2027.

According to the official pricing notice circulated to authorized dealerships across Egyptian governorates, a direct price increase of 35000 EGP has been implemented across all available trims in the local market.

Through this price realignment, GB Auto aims to absorb changing economic variables, production input costs, and imported component expenses utilized in local assembly lines at the Sadat City plant, which operates with a local component ratio of approximately 45%.

The locally assembled Haval Jolion stands out as one of the most prominent compact crossover SUVs, enjoying strong market momentum and wide adoption among families and young drivers in Egypt due to its balanced engineering and advanced technological features.

Official Pricing Structure for Haval Jolion 2027

The updated price list released by the local agent demonstrates that the locally assembled 2027 Haval Jolion is offered in three distinct equipment tiers. Following the August price adjustment of 35000 EGP per trim, the updated official values are structured as follows:

The entry-level Standard trim rose to an official price of 985000 EGP, up from its previous level of 950000 EGP.

The mid-spec Deluxe trim increased to 1035000 EGP compared to its former price of 1000000 EGP.

Concurrently, the top-spec High Deluxe trim reached 1135000 EGP, rising from its previous tag of 1100000 EGP.

The authorized distributor supports the model with an extended official warranty coverage spanning 5 years or 150000 kilometers, whichever comes first, reinforcing consumer confidence in local assembly quality and post-sale technical support.

Mechanical Performance and Powertrain Engineering

The locally assembled 2027 Haval Jolion retains its proven mechanical architecture, powered by a 1.5-liter (1500 cc) turbocharged four-cylinder engine engineered for efficient combustion.

This engine develops a maximum output of 148 hp between 5600 and 6000 rpm, paired with a peak torque of 220 Nm available across a broad operational band ranging from 2000 to 4400 rpm.

Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an advanced 7-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission (7DCT), delivering sharp and smooth shift responses during acceleration while achieving a practical balance between performance and fuel efficiency across urban and highway driving conditions.

The chassis features an independent MacPherson front suspension setup paired with a torsion beam rear suspension system, ensuring balanced handling and road stability.

Structural Dimensions and Exterior Design

The Jolion Facelift boasts competitive exterior proportions within the compact crossover market segment. The vehicle measures 4472 mm in overall length, 1841 mm in width, and 1619 mm in height, built upon a generous 2700 mm wheelbase that directly enhances high-speed stability and maximizes interior cabin legroom for both front and rear passengers.

Visually, the Jolion incorporates Haval's updated design language, featuring a redesigned front grille, full-LED headlights, high-intensity LED taillights, and integrated daytime running lights.

The vehicle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels for the Standard and Deluxe trims, while the range-topping High Deluxe variant upgrades to 18-inch aluminum wheels. Additional exterior highlights include electrically folding and heated side mirrors, along with functional roof rails that emphasize its practical crossover character.

Safety Systems and Driver Assistance

Safety features remain a major highlight of the 2027 Haval Jolion, offering a comprehensive suite of active and passive protection systems as standard equipment across all categories. Standard safety features include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Brake Assist (BA), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill-start Assist Control (HHC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Hold (AVH), and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

While the base Standard trim is equipped with dual front airbags, the Deluxe and High Deluxe trims step up protection with 6 comprehensive airbags (front, side, and curtain). The top-spec High Deluxe trim exclusively features Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), a 360-degree surround-view camera system, automated parking assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

Cabin Ergonomics and Digital Technology

Inside, the Haval Jolion offers a modern cabin equipped with premium materials and infotainment technology designed to elevate occupant comfort.

The dashboard is centered around a large 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display on higher trims, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration paired with a 6-speaker audio system.

Drivers benefit from a digital instrument cluster measuring up to 7 inches in upper trims. Comfort amenities vary by trim level, starting with manual air conditioning and rear air vents on the base trim, upgrading to dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, electrically adjustable driver seat, heated front seats, wireless smartphone charging pad, a panoramic sunroof, smart keyless entry with push-button start, and selectable driving modes including Eco, Sport, and Standard.

In conclusion, this latest price adjustment for the locally assembled 2027 Haval Jolion reflects broader operational dynamics within the Egyptian automotive manufacturing sector.

Despite the 35000 EGP price revision across all trims, the Jolion maintains a strong competitive position in the local compact crossover segment. Its combination of turbocharged performance, comprehensive safety features, modern technology, and GB Auto's nationwide service network ensures it remains a key consideration for Egyptian car buyers.
