Price and Specifications of the KGM Torres 2026 After Discounts

In a notable move reflecting a clear desire to boost sales in the local market, "Arabiat Egypt"—the official agent for the Korean brand KGM—announced significant price reductions of up to 100,000 EGP on the Torres 2026 model, coinciding with the official launch of the new trims in Egypt.

This announcement comes at a time when the car market is experiencing significant activity, with consumers looking for vehicles that offer a difficult balance between price, features, and reliability, especially with the growing competition in the mid-size crossover and SUV segment.

The new discount on the Torres has opened the door for many customers to reassess their options within the mid-size car category, particularly since it boasts strong features, a suitable level of luxury, an All-Wheel Drive option for one trim, and an advanced safety system. In this comprehensive journalistic report, we cover all the details: trims, specifications, features, performance, advantages, value for money, and who should consider buying this car today.

Official Prices After the Reduction

The company announced the launch of four trims of the KGM Torres 2026 model in the Egyptian market after applying the new discounts, which are as follows:

Trim | Price (EGP)First Trim | 1,449,000
Second Trim | 1,585,000
Third Trim | 1,715,000
Fourth Trim | 1,839,000

These reductions—which reached up to 100,000 EGP in some categories—are considered one of the agent's most significant recent steps, bringing the car back into direct competition with Korean and Chinese brands within the same price bracket, and even surpassing them in some features.

Power System and Performance

The KGM Torres 2026 is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine, generating 163 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which ensures smooth power transfer and adequate response for daily driving in cities and on highways.

While the engine is not the most powerful in the segment, it offers practical and quiet performance suitable for the car's family nature, with acceptable fuel consumption compared to its large size and relative weight. The Adventure trim is the only one equipped with an All-Wheel Drive system, making it a suitable choice for those looking to use the car off-road or for long-distance travel.

Exterior Features

The Torres carries a modern design language that leans towards an aggressive character, with a sharp front fascia and a large grille that gives it presence on the road. The car features full LED front and rear lights, with aerodynamic design lines that give it a strong identity among its competitors.

Exterior features vary according to each trim, with higher trims receiving:

• Electric sunroof
• Front and rear parking sensors
• Sport wheels with a distinctive design
• Electric folding side mirrors
• Electric tailgate (in the Premium trim and above)

The car generally stands out with suitable ground clearance, making it well-suited for the varied Egyptian roads.

Cabin and Interior Features

The interior cabin of the Torres 2026 has undergone a significant update compared to the previous generation, becoming more luxurious and comfortable due to the use of quality materials and modern technology aimed at improving the user experience. Key interior highlights include:

• A panoramic instrument screen extending across the dashboard
• A central infotainment screen with a user-friendly interface
• Ambient interior lighting
• Automatic climate control
• Multi-function steering wheel
• Two-tone interior upholstery in the Premium trim

The Luxury trim adds three important features:

• Rain sensors
• Light sensors
• Auto-dimming interior rearview mirror

The cabin offers spacious room for both front and rear passengers, with supportive and comfortable seats for long trips.

Available Trims in Egypt

The car is offered in four main trims:

• Comfort
• Advance
• Premium
• Luxury

This diversity in trims ensures different options to suit users based on their needs, from the entry-level Comfort trim with basic features to the higher-end trims. (Note: The Adventure (AWD) trim is an additional option for off-road enthusiasts).

Advantages of the KGM Torres 2026

The Torres possesses strengths that make it a worthy competitor within the SUV segment, with the most notable advantages being:

• Rich Interior Features: Especially in the higher trims, thanks to the large screens, ambient lighting, and numerous technological features.
• AWD Option (Adventure Trim): A rare feature in this price category, making it a true multi-purpose vehicle.
• Excellent Interior Space: A spacious cabin design makes it suitable for families.
• 5-Year or 100,000 km Warranty: Enhances user confidence in the after-sales experience.
• Strong Exterior Design: Gives a sense of luxury higher than its actual price point.
• Smooth Driving: The 6-speed transmission is very suitable for daily driving.

Value for Money

Following the latest reductions, the Torres has become one of the best "value for money" cars in the mid-size SUV segment. It offers higher interior features than most competitors in the class, in addition to a modern, attractive design and a five-year warranty.

The presence of an All-Wheel Drive trim also makes it a unique choice for those seeking extra capabilities without having to pay huge amounts, as is the case with European or Japanese cars. Compared to similarly priced vehicles, the Torres offers clear advantages in interior luxury, features, and comfort technologies. Thus, it is an excellent deal for anyone wanting a complete car at the best possible value amidst high market prices.

The KGM Torres 2026 is one of the most prominent vehicles that has strongly re-entered the competition after the recent price reductions, thanks to a good level of performance, high-quality interior features, and diverse trims that meet different user needs. The car provides a balanced choice between luxury, reliability, and a suitable price, making it a smart option in its segment.

With continued competition between Korean and Chinese brands in the Egyptian market, the Torres appears to have enough to offer real value to the consumer, especially after its pricing was adjusted to make it more attractive than ever before.
