XPeng Expands Its Lineup in Egypt

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng continues to strengthen its position in the Egyptian automotive market, supported by an expanding lineup of electric vehicles and the introduction of new technologies, including range-extended electric vehicle systems.

The brand currently offers a diversified range of vehicles in Egypt, covering SUVs, crossovers and sedans, with significant differences in pricing, performance and driving range across the lineup.

XPeng vehicles are officially represented in Egypt by Raya Auto, with the current local range consisting of the G7, P7+, Mona M03, G6 and G9. Prices currently start at EGP 1.35 million and reach EGP 3.15 million, depending on the model and trim level.

XPeng’s current price range in Egypt starts at EGP 1.35 million, which is the listed price of the entry-level Mona M03, while the range extends to EGP 3.15 million for the highest-specification version of the G9.

These specifications position the Mona M03 as an important model for customers seeking a relatively lower-priced electric vehicle while maintaining a long driving range.

XPeng G6 Brings a Sporty Crossover

The XPeng G6 is another major model in the Egyptian lineup. It belongs to the compact coupe-crossover segment and is currently listed at around EGP 2.19 million.

The G6 is a fully electric vehicle and is available internationally with different battery and powertrain configurations. Listed specifications include 66 kWh and 87.5 kWh battery options, with driving ranges of approximately 435 km and 570 km depending on the version.

Power output reaches 286 hp in the higher-output configuration, while torque reaches 440 Nm.

The model targets buyers looking for the practicality of a crossover combined with the sportier appearance of a coupe-style SUV.

Raya Auto has also introduced updated versions of the G6 and G9 in Egypt as part of XPeng’s ongoing product development in the local market.

XPeng P7+ Offers 530 km of Range

XPeng’s Egyptian lineup also includes the P7+, a midsize electric sedan priced at approximately EGP 2.15 million.

The model is equipped with a 74.9 kWh battery and produces 313 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Its listed average driving range reaches 530 km.

The P7+ uses rear-wheel drive, reaches a top speed of 200 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 6.2 seconds.

The sedan gives XPeng a presence in a segment that differs from the crossover and SUV categories dominating much of the current electric vehicle market.

XPeng G7 Introduces Range-Extended Technology

One of the most significant recent developments in XPeng’s Egyptian lineup is the introduction of the G7 REEV, the brand’s first range-extended electric vehicle offered in Egypt.

The G7 is currently listed at EGP 2.25 million and belongs to the midsize crossover segment.

Unlike a conventional battery-electric vehicle, a REEV uses an electric motor for propulsion while an internal-combustion engine can generate electricity to support the battery when required.

This configuration can provide greater flexibility for longer-distance driving, particularly in markets where public charging infrastructure is still expanding.

The G7 REEV uses a 55.8 kWh battery and a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, with total output reaching 293 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The vehicle carries a five-year or 120,000-kilometer warranty, while battery coverage extends to eight years or 160,000 kilometers.

The introduction of the G7 REEV marks an important step in XPeng’s Egyptian strategy as range-extended technology gains attention as an alternative between fully electric and conventional vehicles.

XPeng G9 Sits at the Top of the Range

At the top of XPeng’s current Egyptian lineup is the G9, a premium midsize electric crossover available in three versions.

Prices start at EGP 2.74 million for the entry version, increase to EGP 2.89 million for the second trim and reach EGP 3.15 million for the range-topping all-wheel-drive performance version.

The G9 is offered with 78 kWh and 98 kWh battery options, while the listed driving range varies between 520 km and 570 km depending on configuration.

The performance version produces up to 551 hp and 717 Nm of torque, placing the G9 in a significantly more performance-oriented category within the XPeng lineup.

The model targets customers seeking a premium electric SUV combining space, performance and advanced technology.

XPeng Continues Its Egyptian Expansion

XPeng’s strategy in Egypt is not limited to its existing products. The brand has made several moves during 2026 that point to continued expansion in the local market.

Among the developments was the introduction of updated versions of the G6 and G9, alongside the continued expansion of the brand’s electric vehicle range.

XPeng has also recorded a noticeable presence in Egypt’s electric vehicle registrations. Data for February 2026 showed that 59 XPeng vehicles were registered during the month, out of a total of 1,750 electric passenger vehicles registered in the same period.

Raya Auto also received an award for excellence in new markets at XPeng’s 2026 Global Partner Conference, reflecting the Egyptian operation’s performance and expansion.

The current XPeng lineup reveals a significant evolution in the brand’s strategy in Egypt.
