XPENG Tops Egypt’s Premium EV Segment in April 2026.

Led by AI-Powered G9 and G6 SUV Lineup in its Category, Supporting Third Place Overall Ranking within Egyptian EV Registrations

XPENG marked a significant milestone in Egypt’s electric vehicle market in April 2026, becoming the first brand to be sold and officially registered in the “premium EV segment”, driven by its AI-powered SUV lineup. 

The XPENG G9 ranked as the top-selling premium electric SUV, while the XPENG G6 led the premium compact SUV category, with both models continuing to record strong month-on-month growth.

The company also secured third place in overall EV registrations across Egypt during April 2026, while maintaining its position among the top 10 registered EV brands in the country since late 2025 through 2026 to date, underscoring its sustained growth and expanding market presence.

Building on this momentum, Raya Auto is preparing to unveil the XPENG P7+ during May, alongside the introduction of an all-new next-generation model set to be officially announced soon. 

The company is also gearing up to launch XPENG’s first Customer Recognition Program in Egypt, aimed at enhancing the customer experience and strengthening brand loyalty.
