The New Car City, also known as the Car Center in Egypt, is a project established to relocate the used car market from Nasr City to a new location.
The Nasr City used car market is one of the most famous and largest car markets in Egypt and the Middle East. This market is located in the heart of Nasr City, one of the most important districts in the Egyptian capital Cairo, and forms a vital center for the used car trade across the country.
This market was established in the late 1970s and quickly became a primary destination for those seeking used cars of various types and price ranges. The market extends over a wide area that includes hundreds of showrooms and dealers, providing buyers with a wide range of options to meet different tastes and budgets.
A Global City for Used Cars
In line with the state's directions to establish a global city for cars and connect it to the new giant road network for easy access, the car market in Nasr City was moved to the New Car City, which is being built on an area of 57 acres on the Ain Sokhna Road in Wadi Degla area.
Car City includes a free zone, a used car sales area, a dealership complex, traffic offices, car showrooms, and other services provided to the customer to complete all procedures for purchasing a car before leaving the city.
The new city is a qualitative leap in the form of integrated urban markets, implemented to the highest international quality standards, and includes all services related to the automotive sector, from vehicle display methods and purchase procedures to maintenance and after-sales services.
The new city also includes 8 car maintenance workshops, 10 restaurants and cafeterias, 14 traffic offices, 5 public prosecution offices, 9 real estate registry offices, 7 administrative offices, and a comprehensive set of high-level services.
The city can accommodate 4,000 cars, in addition to numerous parking lots. It also contains commercial buildings, administrative headquarters, banks, and real estate registry offices, which help provide many means for users. For example, it allows for easy completion of buying and selling operations through the banking area, to complete withdrawal and deposit operations for a more secure system, with the presence of an integrated system of surveillance cameras and electronic gates.
Car City also provides maintenance centers for periodic and emergency inspections, in addition to places to purchase car spare parts and shops that include many requirements of the car market.
