Driving Experience for the New Nissan Navara

Nissan Egypt organized an exclusive driving experience for the new Nissan Navara in the Egyptian market, attended by representatives from major media outlets and Nissan Egypt partners, who closely explored the latest model of this powerful pickup truck, designed specifically to meet the needs of work and various applications.

The Nissan Navara was first unveiled during the "Nissan Daring Africa 2024" caravan launched by Nissan at the end of last year, celebrating its legacy of over 60 years in Africa. This caravan of Nissan Navara vehicles embarked on an exciting journey spanning more than 8,000 kilometers from the southernmost city of Nelspruit in South Africa, passing through eight African countries, to the northernmost point in Cairo. 

Throughout the journey, the Navara demonstrated its high efficiency in tackling rugged terrains and extreme weather conditions, completing the route without any breakdowns or the need for maintenance, reflecting its reliability and superior capabilities.

The launch of the Nissan Navara in Egypt reflects the company's commitment to Africa by providing solutions suited to all environmental and geographical conditions on the continent. The Navara stands out for its performance in the most challenging conditions, making it truly an African vehicle, as it is manufactured at Nissan's plant in Rosslyn, South Africa, which serves as a regional hub for producing light commercial vehicles for Africa, exporting to various African markets.

On this occasion, Eng. Mohamed Abdel Samad, Managing Director of Nissan Egypt, stated that Nissan aims to strengthen the Egyptian market by offering practical commercial vehicles. He emphasized that the Navara is a strong competitor in its category in the Egyptian market, along with its competitive pricing. 

He added that the company focuses on delivering products characterized by powerful performance and advanced technologies that enable them to navigate tough and rough roads. The Nissan Navara exemplifies this, with its high durability and outstanding performance in challenging conditions.

The Navara embodies Nissan's philosophy: "In any terrain, at any time," as it is built to withstand the challenges posed by unpaved roads and Africa's diverse topography, designed for optimal performance in tough driving conditions. It features a reinforced steel structure and advanced safety systems to provide maximum protection.

The vehicle offers complete stability and outstanding performance on both paved highways and rough terrains. Whether the driver is dealing with tough work conditions or embarking on an adventure on unpaved roads, the Navara's advanced design provides unparalleled reliability and strength.

Safety and security features represent one of the most significant advantages of the Nissan Navara. It is equipped with seven airbags in most trims, including dual front airbags for the driver and front passenger, side airbags for maximum protection, curtain side airbags, and a front airbag to protect the lower part of the cabin. This integrated system ensures the highest levels of safety, peace of mind, and confidence for all passengers on every journey.

The Navara is equipped with advanced braking technologies, including an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Brake Assist. These technologies work seamlessly with ventilated front brake discs and rear drum brakes to generate optimal stopping power, along with a Brake Limited Slip Differential (B-LSD) system. Security systems also include Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control (HDC), and a stability system that helps maintain driving stability during towing. 

Additionally, the anti-theft system (immobilizer) provides an extra layer of security, along with automatic door locking and three-point ELR front seatbelts equipped with pre-tensioners, load limiters, and a seatbelt reminder, raising safety and protection standards for both the driver and passengers.

Under the hood of the new Nissan Navara lies a 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine with a power output of 187 horsepower and a torque of 450 Nm in the double cab SE and LE trims. 

The engine produces 161 horsepower and 403 Nm of torque in the single cab XE trim, making it one of the most powerful engines in its class. For transmission, the single and double cab XE trims are equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, while the double cab SE and LE trims feature a 7-speed automatic transmission, making the Navara a reliable companion for both work and leisure. 

It can handle significant workloads compared to many other types, with a payload capacity of 1,182 kg for the single cab and 1,030 kg for the double cab.

The vehicle is equipped with advanced standards and strong performance, making it the optimal choice for Egyptian consumers due to its ability to handle tough terrains and its suitability for use in diverse environments.
